Dear Papa,

Another year has passed. Time is an interesting invention. I often wonder how you would have perceived the events - good and bad - that fill our earthly lives. Many of them quite futile...and many of them that would not be pleasing to you.

I pray for your repose in peace. And I pray that some of your wisdom may be imparted to us. We miss you dearly. Sleep well my dear father. You were a good man...one of the best.
